LAFAYETTE, La. — Riding six hours to Lafayette, La., following a sweep of ULM last weekend, the Texas State Bobcats are set to square off against Louisiana for the third time this month as the two teams begin a two-game series on Friday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. and will conclude on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 4 p.m.
Texas State (6-5, 3-3) won the first game of the season between the two teams with a 71-63 win on Friday, Jan. 1, before Louisiana (5-5, 4-1) came back the next day to win 67-41.
"Traveling to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette this weekend will be an important challenge for our team," said Texas State women's basketball head coach Zenarae Antoine.
