SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State University women's basketball hosts Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Friday evening at 7 p.m. The Bobcats and Islanders each enter the contest with 1-1 records after picking up wins on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

• Texas State plays the second game of its three-game home stand Friday evening at 7 p.m. against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
• The Bobcats are 1-1 on the season with a loss at SMU and home win over Incarnate Word. This is the fourth straight season Texas State has started 1-1.
