SAN MARCOS, Texas – Eleven Texas State track and field student-athletes are scheduled to participate in the 2019 NCAA Outdoor West Track and Field Preliminaries hosted by Sacramento State on March 23-25 at Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, Calif.
The top 48 individuals of each event and top 24 relay teams in the region earned an invitation to California in hopes of finishing in the top 12 in order to punch a ticket to the NCAA Championships held June 5-8 in Austin, Texas.
Making the trip for the Bobcats will be seniors Kyle Denomme, Tramesha Hardy, T'Mond Johnson and Kylah Smith, junior Naomi Ferdinand, sophomores Jaylen Allen, Ronnie Briscoe, Brandon Busby and Noah Herring, and freshmen Sadi Giles and Live Hilton.
