SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State (3-3) gets back to .500 with a 5-2 victory over Southwestern (2-2) Saturday afternoon at the Bobcat Tennis Complex. The Bobcats are now on a two-match winning streak.
Seniors Rishona Israel-Lewis and Hana Kvapilova blanked sophomores Alli Ziehm and Nina Mitrfanova 6-0 on the top doubles court, and sophomore Chacadyah Israel-Lewis and senior Andrea Fuchs defeated senior Mariana Quetzerei and sophomore Emma Kesterson 6-2 on court No. 3 to win the doubles point for the Bobcats.
