SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State football team held its second of three scrimmages this fall on Saturday morning when the Bobcats worked on several game-like situations for the second straight day.
The scrimmage began with the Bobcat running their offense while backed up in their own end of the field before starting drives on their 25-45 yard lines. Texas State also focused on third down plays with yardages ranging from 4-8 yards to get a first down before practicing in the red zone and on short-yardage situations at the goal line.
"We worked on a lot of different situations," said Texas State head coach Everett Withers.
