MARICOPA, Ariz. – Texas State women's golf concluded the National Golf Invitational (NGI) with a fourth-place finish at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club on Sunday. Mattingly Palmer finished at the top of the Bobcat lineup inside the top-10.
Texas State moved up two spots on the leaderboard to finish fourth in the inaugural postseason NGI tournament. The Bobcats had the second-best round of the day going seven-over to finish 28-over 892. This is Texas State's fourth top-5 finish of the season. The Bobcats finished second in par 4s and par 5s across the field of 10 teams.
