SAN MARCOS, Texas- Women's tennis (3-7, 1-1) put up an early fight against UT Arlington (12-1, 1-0) in doubles, but lost momentum in singles to fall 5-2 for the first home match of the season.
"UTA is a very tough team, but that didn't matter to us," said Texas State women's tennis head coach . "We wanted to win and knew we could, and it showed in our players' energy. UTA just held the competitive mental toughness a little longer than us, but now we know what it takes to win, and we are ready for our next match.
