LAFAYETTE, La. – A hot shooting night for Louisiana was too much for Texas State to overcome Thursday night in the Cajundome that saw the hosts come away with an 82-63 win.
"A tough game for us tonight. Credit Louisiana for taking full advantage of every one of our mistakes in the second half," said head coach Terrence Johnson. "I think we're a better defensive team than we showed tonight, and we are certainly going to have to be moving forward. We have to put this game to bed and get ready for a really good Troy team.
