SAN MARCOS, Texas - The Texas State football team returned Bobcat Stadium for their second spring practice under new head coach Jake Spavital determined to have a productive day despite the cold weather conditions Monday morning.
"I told the team after yesterday's practice that it was going to be a high of 31 degrees during practice this morning," Spavital said. "Then, I told them 'Let's create this mindset that we are going to play anybody, anyplace, anytime- even if it is 6 in the morning, even if (the temperature) is 30 degrees.' I thought that they bought into it.
