TEMPE, Ariz. – The Texas State women's tennis team along with four individual student-athletes were featured on the 2020 Division I Women ITA Scholar-Athlete and All-Academic Teams announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Among the individual Bobcats named are juniors Hana Kvapilova and Sofia Murcia-Rodriguez, sophomore Renata Gonzalez, and freshman Alyssa Zayat. The team as a whole finished the 2019-20 academic year with a 3.5 grade point average (GPA).
A total of 1,430 Division I women student-athletes were honored as an ITS Scholar-Athlete and 244 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
