SAN MARCOS, Texas – Another one-run game was played between Texas State and Arkansas State. However, the Bobcats were unable to pull off another walk-off victory as the Red Wolves claimed a 5-4 contest Saturday afternoon at Bobcat Ballpark.
The Bobcats are now 18-9 on the season and 4-4 in the Sun Belt Conference while ASU is 9-15 overall and 1-5 in conference play.
Kyler Carmack (2-1) picked up the win as he went 6.1 innings and struck out five while surrendering three runs on four walks and three hits. Earning his first save of the season was Jacob Conover after throwing two scoreless innings.
