AUSTIN, Texas – For the first time since 2001 and only the third in program history, Texas State won the season series over Texas following a 7-3 victory at UFCU Disch-Falk Field Wednesday night. It was also the Bobcats' third consecutive win in Austin over the Longhorns since winning four straight meetings from 2000-02.
With the win, TXST is now 17-17 on the season while UT drops to 20-14.
