SAN MARCOS, Texas- Texas State (4-7, 0-1) beat the Gonzaga Bulldogs (6-5, 0-0) 4-3 at home that came down to a thrilling deciding match.
"Today was an unbelievably close match with Gonzaga, couldn't be more proud of the team as a whole," said assistant head coach . "The top of our lineup brought it today, Hana, Kate, and Mae all winning. It was a big deal for us to come out again strong in doubles and get the doubles point. Couldn't be happier to get the win at home against a really tough team and looking forward to getting back to conference play.
