SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State finished 12th at the Jim West Challenge on the Kissing Tree Golf Course, while Marine Griffaut and Mattingly Palmer ended the tournament in the top-25.
"I think we played well the last two rounds," said Texas State women's golf head coach Par Nilsson. "Getting the chance to host a tournament with support from the West family is an amazing opportunity not just for Texas State but also women's collegiate golf. It opens a lot of doors to other tournaments to compete at this level.
