sDENVER – The Texas State women's golf team posted its best finish of the 2025-26 season, earning runner-up honors at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Denver. The performance was highlighted by Yvonne Chamness, who tied for second place for the second time in three events this season.
The Bobcats never fell out of the final top three across 54 holes of golf, holding steady after round two to secure their best outing of the young season. TXST (283-286-284--853) went 11-under in the 15-team field that was led by Vanderbilt's 24-under performance. Host Colorado finished locked with the Bobcats on the final leaderboard.
