SAN MARCOS, Texas - The Texas State women's tennis team posted a combined 18-4 record on the first day of the Texas State Play Day Tournament on Sunday at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.
The Bobcats finished the day with a 15-4 record through two rounds of singles matches and a 3-0 mark in one round of doubles.
Texas State began Sunday winning five of six singles matches against Stephen F. Austin, and three singles matches against Tarleton State in the first round.
The Bobcats came back to win six of eight singles matches against Tarleton State in the second round and three doubles matches against UTRGV.
