ARLINGTON, Texas – Both the men's and women's track and field teams are sitting in great position following the second day of the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships at Maverick Stadium thanks to five medalists on Saturday. Each squad is in second place with the women having totaled 54.5 points and the men heading into the final day with 40 points.
Three Bobcats won individual titles on the day with the first coming from in the high jump. The junior won the event for the second year in a row after clearing 1.77m (5-9.75) on her second attempt at the height.
