Texas State wasn't sure how many 3-pointers Kavin Gilder-Tilbury had during Thursday night's 78-57 victory over Troy.
Yet, every time his teammates looked up, another one of Tilbury's long-distance shots poured through the net.
Tilbury rained down not one, not two, not three, not four, not five but six 3-pointers against the Trojans who could virtually nothing to stop the hot-shooting junior. Tilbury, after all, was 6 of 6 from beyond the three-point arc at one stage of Thursday's tilt inside Strahan Coliseum.
"I remember being 9 of 10 shooting from three in high school once at (Cypress Falls)," said Tilbury, who went 6 of 8 from long range, en route to a career-high 26 points.
