LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — After blowout losses at the hands of UT Arlington and Louisiana-Monroe, Danny Kaspar criticized some of his players for "folding their tents" when the going got tough.
He actually used the word quit following Texas State's 76-57 setback to the Warhawks.
While Kaspar didn't mention any of his players by name, they appear to have heard the message loud and clear. The Bobcats' 73-68 loss to Little Rock, the Sun Belt's outright champions, on Saturday night inside the Jack Stephens Center proved as much. The Trojans punched Texas State in the mouth, but unlike those aforementioned tilts against the Mavericks and ULM, Kaspar's team punched back in the second half.
