SAN ANTONIO – The Texas State men's cross country team opened the 2019 season with a win as they collected 38 points in the 6k race at the UIW Opener August 30 in San Antonio, while the women placed fourth in the 4k with 94 points.
Four Bobcat men finished in the top 10 and five inside of the top 15 in the season opener. Junior paced the Maroon and Gold with a third-place finish, timing out at 18.43.5. Senior Johen DeLeon was right on his heels, finishing in fourth place with a time of 18.
