The Texas State football team concluded its first week of spring practice with offensive and defensive players competing against each other in the team's first winner-loser day that featured the Bobcats practicing in full pads for the first time.
"It was good to see both sides compete," said head coach Everett Withers. "You find out a lot about guys when you put them in those situations where they have to compete."
Withers began the day with an offensive player going against a defensive player one-on-one inside a circle. The winning player was award a point for their respective unit.
