When Ron Antoine looked over film from last season’s 12 games, where the Bobcats only won three of them, he, like most of the other assistants on head football coach Everett Withers’ staff, saw that last season’s team wasn’t crisp when it came down to finishing plays.
“They are starting to finish like I want them to,” said Antoine, Texas State’s tailbacks and tight ends coach. “I am not one of those coaches that is going to yell every play about what you’re supposed to do. But, if I yell ‘finish,’ that means you screwed it up and we’re running after practice for it.
