SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State baseball team and head coach Ty Harrington have announced that five high school seniors have been added to the program during the early signing period.
The newest Bobcats all come from Texas and are set to join the team in the 2018 season.
The class include two infielders, one outfielder and two pitcher/infielders.
Texas State is coming off a 2016 campaign where the club posted a 31-28 overall record and 16-14 mark in the Sun Belt Conference. The Bobcats finished fifth in the league. They are set to open the 2017 season February 17.
