Big Inning Haunts Bobcats in Setback

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A four-run seventh inning was the difference Saturday evening as the Texas State baseball team (33-17, 17-9 Sun Belt) fell to Little Rock (24-25, 15-10 Sun Belt) 9-5 at Gary Hogan Field.

Dalton Shuffield sent the first pitch of the game to left field for a single. After advancing to second on a ground out, the sophomore came around to score when Will Hollis singled to right field to give the Bobcats an early lead.

The Trojans were able to score a run in the second on a Ramon Padilla single.
