SAN MARCOS, Texas – Redshirt juniors Levi Bell and Kyle Hergel were selected as 2022 All-Sun Belt honorees, as voted by coaches and media, the conference office announced on Thursday. Bell, a defensive lineman, was named second team while Hergel, an offensive lineman, was third team.
In addition to Bell and Hergel, four other Bobcats were named All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention: wide receiver Ashtyn Hawkins, kicker Seth Keller, outside linebacker Jordan Revels and safety Tory Spears.
In his first season with Texas State, Bell was a force on the defensive front as he was third in the conference in tackles for loss with 13.
