Baseball Drops Sun Belt Opener in 11th

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Texas State baseball team (8-11, 0-1 Sun Belt) could not come with a timely hit as it fell 2-1 in 11 innings to Little Rock (7-7, 1-1 Sun Belt) Friday afternoon at Gary Hogan Field.

Taking the loss on the mound was (1-1). The right-hander threw four innings of relief with two strikeouts. Aaron Barkely (4-0) picked up the win after tossing four scoreless innings with three strikeouts and giving up three hits and two walks.
