MONTGOMERY, Texas – The Texas State men's golf team leads the team standings after the opening round at the Bentwater Intercollegiate. The Bobcats shot a one-over-par 285 in the first round and have a two-shot lead over Sam Houston State and Midland Community College.
Terrin Anderson is leading the individual standings after shooting a three-under-par 68 in the first round. He holds a one-shot lead over Chad Sewell of Sam Houston, Raghav Chugh of Rice, Jack Tanner of South Dakota State, and Samual McKenzie of Midland CC.
Evan White is tied with three other players in 14th place after shooting an even-par 71.
