SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State head tennis coach Tory Plunkett announced Friday that Alyssa Zayat has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Bobcats in the 2019-20 school year.
A native of Broken Arrow, Okla., Zayat trains at the Tucker Academy and is a senior at Bishop Kelley High School. She is listed as a rising star and as ranked the No. 3 player in Oklahoma. She also is No. 26 in the Gulf States Regional Rankings and No. 223 in national rankings.
"Alyssa is a rising star and a tremendous athlete," Plunkett said.
