The month of October has been an interesting and exciting time for Bobcat Athletics. Everyone has been hard at work winning two conference championships, coming within one point of winning back-to-back league titles, winning the annual Homecoming football game in throwback uniforms and hosting one of the nation's most prestigious intercollegiate golf tournaments.
I want to take this opportunity to congratulate Head Coach Kat Connor on being named the Sun Belt Conference Coach of the Year after leading the soccer team to its first Sun Belt championship Oct. 21. This Tuesday, the team tied a league record having seven players earn all-conference honors and set a school record by earning four specialty awards.
