Saturday was a difficult day for all of us who love and support Texas State Football. Collectively, we know we can be better than the result.
On behalf of Texas State Athletics, we are disappointed, and we must do better. I have shared that sentiment with Coach Spavital, who, with his staff, remains steadfast and determined to lead our incredible student-athletes to win football games.
I understand your frustration, and I share it. We expect tremendous effort from our coaches and student-athletes each and every day, and I expect nothing less for the remainder of our season.
