This past Friday marked a landmark moment in the history of college athletics with the final approval of the NCAA vs. House settlement, ushering in a new era for athletics departments to directly share revenue with student-athletes. At Texas State, we are proud to have anticipated this change, announcing publicly in March our commitment to invest at a high level in this new opportunity.
Our plan empowers coaches with enhanced resources to implement revenue sharing, whether by offering expanded scholarship opportunities or by establishing institutional Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) agreements directly with student-athletes.
