SAN MARCOS, Texas – Three Bobcats – Shawn Collins, Daniel Harrold and Dominick Yancy – earned Sun Belt Conference postseason awards for the 2024 indoor track and field season. Harrold was named the Men's Track Performer of the Year; Collins was named the Men's Co-Newcomer of the Year; and Yancy was named the Men's High-Point Scorer for the Sun Belt Conference meet.
At the conference indoor championships, Harrold recorded a 7.62 in the men's 60-meter hurdles, which won him the individual championship and set the new Texas State, Sun Belt Conference and Sun Belt meet records.
