SAN MARCOS, Texas – A sense of pride filled the J. Garland Warren Room on Friday when Texas State president Dennis Trauth and Athletics Director Larry Teis joined university and athletics administrators, coaches and parents in honoring the academic accomplishments of 22 Bobcat student-athletes at Texas State's annual Athletics "T" Ring ceremony. The ceremony is sponsored by the Bobcat Club.
Each student-athlete was presented the Athletics "T" Ring, graduation cords and a Sun Belt Conference Medallion to wear during commencement exercises this weekend in Strahan Coliseum.
The graduates includes football players CJ Best, Donta Clanton, Zach Crawford, Jafus Gaines, Trey Garrett, Ryan Garrey, Tim Gay, Stephan Jacobs, David Mims, Rusmin Nikocevic, Jack Rhoades, Blaire Sullivan and Demetrius Woodard.
