SAN MARCOS, Texas – The 2018 Sun Belt Conference regular season and tournament champion Texas State softball program earned special recognition at the Bobcat football game on Oct. 6. The team was announced during a timeout in the first quarter and received championship rings at a special ceremony at halftime.
"It was awesome to finally be able to give these young ladies the much-deserved ring they have been anxiously awaiting," head softball coach Ricci Woodard said. "To see them all put those rings on together was the exclamation mark to the end of a great season and some amazing careers.
