SAN MARCOS, Texas – Twenty athletes from the Texas State track and field team qualified for the 2024 NCAA West Prelims in Fayetteville, Ark., the NCAA announced on Thursday. The Bobcats will compete in 16 different events throughout the four-day competition that takes place May 22-25.
Texas State will have 15 athletes competing in individual events and three relay teams competing as well.
Twelve of the athletes competing for Texas State are multi-time qualifiers for the regional meet. Kerrington Johnson will be competing in the preliminary round for the fourth time in her career.
