SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State will send 12 athletes and three relay teams to compete in 18 different events at the 2022 NCAA West Preliminary Rounds in Fayetteville, Ark. from May 25-28 as the NCAA announced all regional selections vying for a spot in the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Alyssa Wilson (hammer, shot put, discus), Sedrickia Wynn (100 meter and 100 meter hurdles) and Simon Thor (pole vault, javelin) will represent Texas State in multiple events. Wilson is the first Texas State women's thrower to reach the preliminary rounds since Julie Lange in 2017.
