ME: We spoke directly with Rangers general manager Jon Daniels about this subject during his visit to Boston. While conventional wisdom has been that the Rangers would likely be sellers at the trade deadline, Daniels maintained he'd make no pre-determinations about the club's direction until watching them play. He has said the play has been "an eye-opener."
"We said early on we weren't going to put limits on this club," he said. "I think where we go from here is going to be dictated by how the club plays and also the opportunities that are there in front of us.
