ARLINGTON -- For going on two months now, Martin Perez has professed he's learning by the day from his exposure to the wisdom of Bartolo Colon.
Well, he's got a chance to prove it Sunday.
The situation could not be set up more perfectly for Perez to apply the lessons he's learned. For the first time this season, he will pitch the game after a Colon start against the same opponent when he faces Seattle in the series finale Sunday afternoon. Perez did follow Colon the last time through, but while Colon faced Houston (and flirted with a perfect game), Perez pitched at Tampa Bay.
