Its now been about 48 hours since the Texas Rangers made the decision to not tender a contract to four of their players and release them into free agency.
While those moves might have been necessary to advance the team further after two consecutive disappointing seasons, it is not easy for Rangers' fans to see Adolis Garcia, Jonah Heim and Josh Sborz depart the organization this closely removed the 2023 World Series.
But it's happened and the team needs to move forward. While that might sound easy when looking at Garcia and Heim's declining numbers since 2024, Texas also lost two players at least 123 of the team's 162 games this season.
