Morning, all!

The Rangers promoted three farmhands Tuesday, one of which is a bit of a redemption story.

Hometown boy Billy McKinney made his Ranger debut yesterday. Drafted out of Plano West in 2013, he was released by the Mets and signed by the Rangers on a minor league deal in May.

McKinney was added to the roster after Tyler Mahle was moved to the 60 day IL. Mahle is convinced he will pitch again this season.

Alejandro Osuna had his first big league home run last night, a homer that both Adolis Garcia and Osuna’s brother predicted.
