- So yeah, Jacob deGrom retired the first 18 batters he faced, and really didn’t seem to break a sweat doing it.
- deGrom didn’t even get to a three ball count on a batter until the 17th batter he faced, when he got to 3-2 on Dylan Carlson before striking him out.
