The Lance Lynn Experience continues to surprise and amaze. Against a potent Astros team, Lynn labored a bit the first couple of innings, and there was some reason to question how deep into the game he would be able to go. As it turns out the answer was 7 shutout innings, with 6 hits, 2 walks and a whopping 11 strikeouts. Lynn’s ERA is down to 3.69 on the year.
Jose Leclerc pitched a scoreless 8th and Chris Martin pitched a scoreless 9th in relief, and kept drama minimized.
