The Rule 5 Draft is one of the most exciting days across baseball, especially for the rebuilding and talent-seeking Texas Rangers. But for many young stud prospects, it’s a day full of anxiety.
These are the parameters for eligible players:
“Players signed at age 18 or younger need to be added to their club’s 40-Man roster within five seasons or they become eligible for the Rule 5 Draft.
