The Rangers and their ability to avoid losing streaks of any length

ARLINGTON - The Rangers have either the best or the worst collective short-term memory in the major leagues.

The Rangers returned to work on Saturday at Globe Life Park and showed no hangover from the wrenching events of the previous evening, when they blew a six-run lead for the first time since 2010 in a loss to Boston. They bounced back to bury the Red Sox in a 10-3 victory and continue a remarkable streak.

The Rangers have not lost consecutive games since being swept at Oakland on May 16-18. They are 26-8 since that inexplicable event.
