Of course I had this recap all but complete before Sunday’s game, pretty much expecting the Texas Rangers to get swept by Oakland, so what did they do? They came out swinging and finally won a game this week.
While they manged to end their road season on a win, their hopes of ending the season on a high note with a record of better than .500 crumbled completely last week. Not only did they end their road season with not one win in Houston all season, giving Astros their 100th win and clinching a post-season berth, they went to Oakland all but forgot how to play baseball until Sunday Afternoon.
