It’s been a rough go for the Texas Rangers offense in recent weeks, as their road struggles have followed them from city to city, seemingly with no end in sight.
So surely, a three game series at Coors Field in high altitude Denver, Colorado would do the trick for a slumbering offense, right?
It very well may as the series progresses with the ball due to fly around eventually, but for starter Dane Dunning, the Coors effect was not lost on him, smacking a base hit to center field in the third inning.
