It has been a busy last couple of weeks for the Texas Rangers organization. They keep the moves coming as the team has traded outfielder Travis Snider to the New York Mets. In exchange for Snider the Rangers will receive cash considerations.
This season Snider is hitting .294 with nine home runs and 44 RBI in 100 games in Triple-A Round Rock. He’s collected over 100 hits this season and has been tearing the cover off the ball in the minors.
The last two seasons Snider has spent in the minors. He hasn’t played in the MLB since 2015 with Pittsburgh and Baltimore.
