Texas Rangers slugger Joey Gallo tests positive for COVID-19

Texas Rangers slugger Joey Gallo tested positive for COVID-19 and is quarantining at home, the team announced Monday.

Gallo, who is asymptomatic, first tested positive last Monday but a follow-up test the next day came back negative. After waiting another two days to get tested again, the 26-year-old tested positive.

Gallo, a first-time All-Star last year, has hit 103 homers with 221 RBIs in 363 games over the past three seasons.
