Continuing their road trip, the Rangers head to Oakland for a three game series against the tied-for-first-place-in-the-AL-west Oakland A’s.
Tuesday’s game will feature Lance Lynn making his first road start of the year. Last season he went 6-10 in 17 starts on the road with a 3.84 ERA. Jesus Luzardo will make his first Major League start, after making two appearances in relief this season. He is Oakland’s No. 1 prospect. So far this season he has pitched 6.2 innings and has given up three runs (one earned) on five hits and three walks with seven strikeouts.
