Texas Rangers transactions: The Baltimore Orioles have claimed infielder Jack Reinheimer off of waivers from the Texas Rangers. Reinheimer was designated for assignment last week when the Rangers officially announced the signing of Asdrubal Cabrera.
The Rangers had claimed Reinheimer off of waivers from the Chicago Cubs in November, 2018. He always seemed to be a likely 40 man roster casualty at some point in the offseason, with the Rangers presumably claiming in the first place hoping to try to run him through waivers later on in the offseason and outright him to provide some AAA infield depth.
